In 1993 the company entered into Agreement with Emerson Network Power (part of Fortune 500 conglomerate Emerson Electric) for Sales and Service of Liebert brand UPS systems.
GPT acquired Pulse Power Technologies Pvt Ltd (PPT) in the year 1997. With this acquisition it ventured into the Solar Power Electronics arena. Subsequently PPT signed an agreement of Technical Collaboration with Optimal Power Solutions Pty Ltd., Australia to manufacture Solar Power Conditioning Equipment based on proprietary DSP Technology. These products are currently manufactured for both domestic and international market.
British Consol make Evacuated Tube Solar Water Heaters complete the product range. Evacuated Tube Solar Water Heating Systems both with and without Heat Pipes are widely accepted in the Indian market and have been gaining popularity rapidly.
A wide customer base includes Domestic Giants like Tata BP, Bharat Heavy Electricals, Tata Consultancy Services,Standard Chartered Bank and Public Sector Units like Doordarshan and West Bengal Electronic Industry Development Corporation and many International Customers.
